Workshop/Training Cancellation Policy:

We rely on your attendance to make important arrangements for workshops and/or training. If a participant needs to withdraw from a workshop/training, he/she must inform us no later than 15 days prior to the first day of the scheduled event. We will then refund your registration fee, minus a $25 administration fee. If payment has not yet been received a $25 administration fee will still be charged. If you withdraw from the event 14 days or less prior to the start date, your registration fee will not be refunded. Refunds cannot be made for participant no-shows. All refunds will be made in the manner in which payment was received.

If ECDSS needs to cancel a workshop, participants will be notified at least 14 days prior to the scheduled event and ECDSS will immediately issue refunds. All registration fees will be refunded IN FULL if we cancel an event due to low enrollment or instructor scheduling conflicts.

Workshop/Training registration is transferable to another individual within your organization, should you choose to withdraw your registration.

Payment Policy:

We are privileged to have practitioners from a variety of agencies and communities attend our workshop/training events. For this reason it is important that your payment is accurately received and recorded. Payment can be made by credit card during the registration process, or by cheque made out to: Early Childhood Development Support Services.

** Payment must be received 14 days prior to the event. Please include your invoice number, which is the same as your registrant ID number in order to correctly direct payment.

Once you register for an event you will receive a confirmation email at the email address used for the registration. This email is your invoice for registration and must be copied and sent with your payment for identification of above requirements.

If payment is not received 14 days prior to the start of the scheduled event ECDSS will contact the registrants and secure payment to hold the spot or for cancellation information.

Liability:

The attendance of the event is at your own risk. In no event shall the Event Organizers be liable for death, injury, any loss, cost or expense suffered by any person (including accompanying persons, partner, or attendant caregivers). In particular, they are not liable for losses arising from the provision or non-provision of services provided by hotel companies or transport operators. Nor are they liable for losses suffered by technical, mechanical or electrical breakdown within any premises visited by delegates and/or partners in connection with the event.

Every effort will be made to conduct this event according to the schedule and dates posted. However unlikely, unforeseen circumstances may result in schedule changes or event cancellation. Registrants will be notified by email of major changes or cancellation.

No liability is assumed for inaccuracy, misdescriptions, delays, damaged or lost property, personal injury, terrorism or death.
